“We’re Watching… Wisconsin Elections”

“We’re Watching…Wisconsin Elections” is an initiative endorsed by the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women for election integrity and against voter fraud in our state.  Now is the time to come forward and participate in the next election cycle.  Here are some ways to act now toward this end:

1.  POLL WORKER
GOP members are urged to alert their county GOP Chairman and let him know  you are willing to serve as a POLL WORKER.  After names are submitted by each political party the election clerk in each area selects the POLL WORKERS they will utilize and provides them with the necessary training prior to any election.  Sooner the better to get our names onto the Election Clerk’s list because while they try to have equal representation of Democrats and Republicans they must fill all positions so we have to be on the list to be considered!  Absolute Deadline is NOVEMBER 30, 2009 to volunteer for the upcoming two-year election cycle so we urge you to act now.

2.  SPECIAL REGISTRATION DEPUTY
Some of us received this training already that is offered by the Government Accountability Board in Madison.  Those who get certified by the state are able to register voters – a valuable tool for us to have as we hold conservative events in the area in the future.  If there is additional interest, another 2-hour training session could be scheduled at our request.  The Government Accountability Board in Madison offers a wealth of information regarding the election process and new initiatives under way and being contemplated by our state.  Visit the Government Accountability Board web site at:  http://elections.state.wi.us/ and Special Registration Deputy information.

3.  ELECTION OBSERVER
The State GOP appoints observers so anyone interested should submit their name to our county GOP Chair if interested.  The We’re Watching…Wisconsin Elections Committee of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women has submitted a new Manual for Election Observers that was approved by the state GOP and is now being reviewed by their legal team before implementation.  The We’re Watching…Wisconsin Elections Committee submitted the manual and is encouraging the state GOP to endorse their manual and work toward a knowledgeable and confident team of Election Observers to represent the GOP in the next election cycle.

At this time we ask that you submit your name to your county chairman to volunteer as a POLL WORKER – time is of the essence!

If you are interested in attending an October 26 presentation about the “We’re Watching…Wisconsin Elections” Initiative now being planned by Oneida County, please email the Oneida County Chair.

Addressing Voter Fraud Here in WI

We’re Watching Campaign

Voter Fraud is indeed a problem in Wisconsin and around our country. There are things we can do:

  • Become Poll Watchers
  • Become Election Observers
  • Become Special Registration Deputies (SRDs)
  • Watch for legislation as it pertains to voting and elections and communicate concerns with members and legislators

Join the Republican Women of the North on September15 from 5-7pm in Rhinelander, WI for Special Registration Deputy Training!  You will learn to register voters and can then register them under the GOP banner at area events, schools and even the GOP offices as we head into the 2010 election cycle.  You must register now and get certified to participate.  Here’s how:
