Please explain why only 2 of the 8 announced 8th District Republican Congressional candidates are listed as invited/featured speakers. I thought the Republican Party professed not choosing favorite candidates before a primary. Why the favoritism?
I agree with Kerry Thomas. Why only 2 of 6 Congressional Candidates invited? This is exactly why the Republican Party has lost favor with their party members and have provided the motivation for the Tea Parties. This type of Political BS should not occur. Allow the PEOPLE to decide not party insiders.
Why are only two Congressional candidates invited?
At the Vilas County GOP meeting held January 18, a motion carried to invite all candidates to the Lincoln/Reagan Day Dinner, offer table space for each candidates’ literature, and each will be introduced that evening.
The Republican Women of the North agreed to host an 8th Congressional District Candidate Debate that has been tentatively scheduled for 1pm on May 8.
