From the Scott Walker Campaign…

In case you haven’t heard, your auto insurance rates went up recently. Not because you were involved in an accident. Not because you added a high risk driver to your policy or moved to an area where accidents, theft and vandalism are more likely to occur.

Your insurance rates went up simply because Governor Doyle and Legislature changed auto insurance laws when they passed the state budget in July.

That’s right. During the worst economic downturn in decades, Governor Doyle and the Legislature decided to add higher costs to the budgets of hardworking Wisconsin families. Many will see their rates increase as much as 20%. The only winners are the trial lawyers, who stand to make a lot more money when they sue people like you.

But there is something you can do.

A bill to repeal these costly changes is being debated in Madison right now.

Contact your state legislators and tell them to say no to higher auto insurance rates. Then join Scott Walker’s campaign for Governor today.

When it comes to choosing sides, Scott Walker will be on the side of hardworking families every time.

The special interests will have to fend for themselves.
